Recently at style club we were talking about swimsuits.
And a new member asked me this question:
Q: What’s the IT swimsuit this summer that we should all own?
How would you answer this question:
A – it’s all about flattering vertical lines this season
B – one pieces with a V-neckline
C – depends on your body type
Watch the video and check my answer!
Swimsuits seam intimidating because there’s not much fabric. But I promise, todays video will help.
1. Elongate (petites)
Vertical lines elongate so this is a great option for petite a body shape.
2. Elongate (petites, torso)
Here, the monochromatic is used to create an illusion that your torso is longer. Color blocking would do the opposite.
3. Elongate (petites, legs)
To create an illusion of longer legs you can wear a high waist swimsuit.
4. Disguise Tummy
There are a lot of great swimsuits that have texture in the tummy area and that will help you disguise tummy.
Stripes are also a great option to disguise this area.
5. Support Bigger bust
Invest in wider strap! That will help you support a big bust.
6. Volume to Bust
Details, patterns, ruffles… those will be your best friends!
7. Highlight Waist
A nice idea would be adding color block 🙂
